Bonnie 12/2008
Because the old adage goes “physician heal thyself”, I thought I’d better give you my testimony of using enzymes and the Loomis program to take care of my health issues. When I first got into the Loomis program and enzyme replacement therapy, I had only a couple of bothersome problems of which I aware. But, at the time, I didn’t know a lot about the complexities of digestion and didn’t even know they were related to indigestion. I had always thought that heartburn, bloating, stomach gas and GERD’s were the only things considered digestive problems. I never had any of those, except heartburn a few times in the later stages of pregnancy. But I had life long problems with constipation and as I aged, severe lower intestinal gas (flatulence), which I attributed to low water intake and not eating enough fruits and vegetables. However, even when I increased those, it didn’t seem to make much difference. As I put myself through the program, I found the main thing I didn’t digest well were carbohydrates.
And I had a toxic bowel (Indicanuria) with too much undigested food in it plus candida (more commonly known as yeast….which loves to feed on undigested food, especially sugars!). So after putting myself on the PAN diet (only a moderate change), using PAN (weighted towards carb digestion) digestive enzymes, Challenge powder to clean out the toxins, “bad” bacteria and parasites in my bowel and then SMI to re-implant it with “good” bacteria. The 24hr urinalysis also showed that my Vit C levels were extremely low so I started on some OPT. OPT is an enzyme/herb formulation to replenish Vit C levels, which are imperative to repair the body. Because the highest levels of Vit C stored in the body are in the eye….hence OPT for optical…the interesting consequence of my taking this is that my vision also improved. I now see better out of my old glasses than my newer ones and my vision hasn’t declined for the last seven years! Previously, I was getting a stronger prescription every two years. My constipation and lower bowel gas completely disappeared, and very quickly.
Over the last 6 years of taking enzymes and being retested at various times, the following has shown up and been treated with good results.
Just before leaving Michigan in 2003, I had an x-ray diagnosis of arthritis in the base of my left thumb. It was becoming quite painful and limited what I could do with that hand. Took OSTEO enzymes and within a couple of weeks, the pain was entirely gone and I’ve not had a further problem until a couple of months ago when I stopped taking the OSTEO. Within 2 weeks I was in severe pain again and could hardly use my hand to grasp anything. Within 4 days of being back on the OSTEO, I was again pain free with full mobility.
Dr. Loomis has 2 other enzymes I use fairly often. TRMA (Trauma) and MSCLR (Muscular). Whenever I have a deep tissue massage, over exercise, hurt myself falling down, shovel a lot of snow, or do anything else to myself that causes muscle injury, pain or bruising, I take these together several times a day and end up without pain, soreness, swelling or bruising. I have a compressed disc in my low back and used to end up in bed for a few days with it at least once or twice a month. Since taking the enzymes, I’ve only had 4 episodes since 2003 and bed rest was reduced to just one day. I never travel without it now.
Since my late teens, I have had ever increasing bouts of bronchitis. Sporadic in my younger years, since 1995 they have occurred each winter and their severity has put me in the ER a couple of times for breathing treatments.
I would be prescribed one of those powerful antibiotics, which I hate, in order to get rid of it. TRMA is a proteolytic enzyme which will digest pathogens (virus, bacteria, fungi) and this helped stave off several episodes of full blown bronchitis. In 2006, Dr. Loomis introduced RE1 and RE2 (reticuloendothelial products) that are strong immune system boosters. Now if I start to get something, I just take these and they are better than any antibiotic I’ve ever had. They are such a powerful combination that January of 2008, I was in San Diego, CA for a conference and got sick with a severe case of ??? It got into my chest so fast, I wasn’t sure I’d make it home the next day on the plane. The TRMA enabled me to do so, and by the time I got home at 2pm the next day, I was already having trouble breathing. I took all 3 of the enzymes every hour until I went to bed and in the morning, I felt 60% better. I took them every 2 to 3 hrs the next day and by the following day I was WELL! Can’t say I’ve ever had an antibiotic that did that, plus no side effects, overdose worries or toxicity issues. And
now, I never travel without all three.
I have also had a chronic problem with cold sores (herpes simplex) for 25 years. Every time I would get overly stressed, I would get one. And that meant 2 weeks of pain and misery. It also meant I had to deal with them about 6 or 7 times a year. Since taking enzymes, I seldom get an outbreak unless incredibly stressed. And if I do, I just take some DermH3 and TRMA every 2 to 3 hrs the first day and it’s gone by the next. What a relief!!! DermH3 is an enzyme high in amylase and specific target herbs and it does the same thing for shingles.
Last year, a screening aortic scan showed up a small liver cyst and I had to have an ultrasound to see what it was. Thankfully, it turned out to be a benign fluid filled cyst of the type that comes and goes, most often without anyone ever knowing they’re there. But what was amazing, is that it showed that I had absolutely NO gallstones, and almost everybody my age has some. Enzymes will “digest/dissolve” them and I guess they did.
The last thing I want to share is my experience with VSCLR (vascular). My triglycerides were a little high and I knew that VSCLR, being an enzyme/herb formula that helps fat digestion and usage, would help lower them…which it did. But I had an additional unexpected benefit. My chiropractor had someone come to do artery testing for plaque, elasticity, and chronological age. When I had my test, the lady asked me what I was taking. I explained and asked her why. She said I was at the top of the best results, and even though age 65, the chronological age of my arteries tested out at age 36!
So you can see why I love the enzymes. They keep me pretty healthy and I’m not on any medications. There’s an answer for almost any health challenge within the products Dr. Loomis has created. They have no side effects, can’t
make you toxic, you can’t overdose on them and they can’t hurt you (unless you have a compromised gastric mucosa and take too much protease…something the program monitors). Other than some elemental liquid minerals, I take no other supplements. The OPT (Vit C) and the ELXR (Elixir contains a formula that supplies all the necessary B vitamins, plus other nutrients) supply what I need nutritionally, and because they also have the enzymes in them to break them down and deliver them, I know I am getting all the benefit they have to offer. What more could you ask???

I came to Bonnie because I had high blood pressure and high cholesterol (around 380) and was on drugs from my doctor without any significant control. I was also trying to get my wife pregnant and wasn’t having any luck there either. Both my wife and I had been to the fertility specialist, at great expense, and they said I had “slow swimmers” and couldn’t do anything about it. After doing the program with Bonnie, and finding out what I needed, within 3 months my BP and cholesterol levels were normal and in the fourth month I got my wife pregnant. We now have a beautiful daughter!

I was bulimic from the age of 18 until I was 40. Of course my digestion was screwed up and I was pretty unhealthy and suffered with gas, heartburn and severe constipation, among other things. Because of my illness over the years, I was also depressed and on medication for this. As I overcame my bulimia and became more interested in healthy eating and personal health, I came to Bonnie to see if she could help me feel better. After being on some enzymes to help with digestion, some ELXR to boost my nutrition, and some LGI for my constipation, I am feeling much better and my digestive problems are gone. I also have more energy and am able to take less of my anti-depressants. I’m not always very disciplined about taking my enzymes, but as soon as I start feeling bad, it doesn’t take me very long to call Bonnie and get started on them again.
Jean & Glenn F. Michigan 5/2003
Hi, my name is Jean and I’m an LPN (licensed practical nurse). I had a severe problem with GERD’s (gastric-esophogeal reflux disease) and was being treated by my family physician for it with very little success. He kept changing my medication trying to find one that worked for me. Meanwhile, I kept getting worse! I would wake up at night really sick and in pain. I would end up sleeping in a chair because I was afraid I would be sick again if I laid down. This had been going on for quite some time when I finally came to see Bonnie and asked for help. I was getting desperate. I did the program and found out what I needed to be on. It was amazing how fast it worked and I was able to get off my “little purple pills” for the GERD’s. I stayed on the enzymes for about a year. I even tried to get my husband to do the program because he has a serious diagnosis of Barrette’s Esophogus, which is a precancerous condition of gastric reflux, but he refused at the time.
After Bonnie moved from Michigan to Colorado, I stopped getting the enzymes from her because I thought I didn’t need them anymore. But after a short time, I began having problems that only continued to get worse with time. So I contacted Bonnie again and have been on the enzymes ever since. My family physician says he doesn’t know or understand what I’m on but to keep doing it because I’m well now. Even my lactose intolerance is gone.
As for my husband, his problem became more severe with breakthrough bouts of his symptoms and none of the medications the doctors gave him helped. So I finally talked him into trying Bonnie’s program the end of 2007. His symptoms have subsided and he is off his reflux medication, which still wasn’t doing much anyway. His life long constipation of only going every other day or two is also gone. We are now waiting for his next EGD (film od esophagus done every 2 years) to be done sometime in 2009 and anxious to see how successful the enzymes were/are. Update to follow.

I was having some digestive problems; mostly with gas, heartburn, bloating and some stomach and abdomen discomfort at times. I also had frequent bouts of esophageal spasms when I ate that would not let the food go down and I would end up regurgitating that mouthful of food. This was especially embarrassing if I was eating out or at someone’s home. I never knew when it was going to happen. After doing the program and faithfully taking the enzymes my body needed, I realized that a side benefit, that neither I nor Bonnie expected, was the disappearance of my esophagus spasm’s. I am feeling much better and healthier and am so thankful I don’t have to worry about any more embarrassment.
Sandie and Luke H. Colorado 11/2005
My husband built Bonnie’s house in Pagosa and that’s how I came to know about her and her business. I was having some digestive problems with gas, bloating, stomach discomfort and also severe PMS symptoms. Since I don’t like to take drugs unless absolutely necessary, even over the counter stuff, I was looking for an alternative way to help myself. So I asked Bonnie if the Loomis program could definitely tell me what was going on and identify what my system was lacking and needed. She said it could and it found I was having great difficulty digesting carbs and a mild problem digesting protein. My hormone function was also off. I was put on a digestive enzyme, FEM, an enzyme/herbal support for hormonal balance and ELXR, to provide extra nutrients and the B vitamins that people who don’t digest carbs well tend to burn up faster than normal. I am now symptom free, thanks to Bonnie and the Loomis program.
In the spring of 2008, Luke, my twelve year old son, started having hand tremors, which were infrequent and very mild at first. But they got worse and more frequent as time went on. By late fall, they were so bad at times, his hand written school work was almost unreadable and the teachers were complaining. Our family doctor finally referred us to a neurologist for a consultation. The neurologist diagnosed the condition as an essential tremor and told us there was nothing that could be done for it. So I took Luke to see Bonnie, and through the Loomis program, she found out he did not digest fats very well and was EFA (essential fatty acid) deficient. She told me it takes EFA’s to form the myelin sheath that covers the nerves and aids in nerve conduction. So she started him on BIL, which is weighted to digest fats, and RBS, which contains an enzyme/herbal formula to deliver EFA’s and within a month his tremors were greatly reduced in frequency and severity. It is now the beginning of 2009, and his tremors are, for all practical purposes, gone! Luke is so grateful, that he is very faithful about taking his enzymes and even packaging them up to put in his lunch without me reminding him, a miracle in itself for a teenager!
Bonnie and I have tried to encourage my husband to do the program as he has some minor health issues that would benefit. At first, he totally pooh-poohed that enzymes could or would do anything. Now, he comes in and takes some digestive enzymes and TRMA (a proteolytic enzyme that attacks foreign invaders in the body) every time his allergy symptoms flare up or he gets an allergy headache. As he always gets relief, his belief system in them is improving. And when he gets tired enough of his heartburn and taking antacids more and more frequently, I’m sure he’ll come around.
Bill D. California 7/2008 (This was a case done long distance)
Bonnie is my sister-in-law, but we live in California, and we seldom get to see her. I knew very little about her business and never really knew or understood what she did until we visited her in May of 2008. While there, we had some in depth discussions about it. She suggested that my health problems would benefit from the program. I’ve had colon cancer twice and have been cancer free now for 2 yrs since the last go around. But now my prostate count (PSA) was elevated, as were my liver enzymes. So I took home the supplies and did the program once I got back home. It identified what I didn’t digest and what body systems were out of balance and being stressed. After starting on an enzyme for digestion of carbs (PAN), Mal (for the prostate stress) and LVR and TRMA for the high liver enzyme count, I am thankful to report that all are within normal limits now. My doctors are impressed and I am feeling good.
